Web Development
My journey into web development began way back in 1997 with Adobe PageMill 2.0 consisting mostly of frames and image maps. It wasn’t until I began looking “under the hood” at code that I acquired a deep interest. Since then I’ve logged countless hours devoted to custom coding, utilizing CSS frameworks and JavaScript libraries. My new passion is Node.js and React.
Web Design
For much of my career I’ve been fortunate to work with many skilled web designers to help build their creations for the web. On other occasions I have provided my own designs for both large and small websites on platforms such as WordPress and Salesforce. Lately, I utilize tools such as Adobe XD and Figma for mockups, interactive wireframes and prototyping components.
Technical Consulting
The latter 5+ years of my career I’ve spent consulting clients who use the Salesforce platform. This has entailed creating enterprise email marketing templates in Marketing Cloud and setting up partner community sites in Experience Cloud. Other activities include technical documentation, story refinement, Apex and Lightning Web Component development.

About
When I’m not writing code or designing web apps I do have a few other loves that occupy the remainder of my time. From my adorable dog to hobbies such as downhill skiing, I appreciate and enjoy all of the following when offline.
Auggie
A few years back I adopted a friendly little 8-year-old Schnoodle named Auggie while fostering dogs for a local rescue group. He can be quite loud sometimes, but he is a great companion who keeps me active by insiting we go for long walks. Browse my curated gallery of Auggie pics.
Music
At an early age I was drawn to drums from playing high school pep and jazz bands which eventually landed me the John Philip Sousa Award. Primarily a rock drummer, I enjoy listening to heavy metal to alternative rock bands like the Flaming Lips and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Hobbies
Recently I’ve acquired an interest in fishing and in the summer I spend the weekends trying to catch elusive walleye. In the winter I travel west for downhill skiing with my family. When not outside I’m usually watching TV or playing RPG video games.
